Your're right, except Canelo won 8-4. Golovkin was unable to make any adjustments, and he actually fought reluctantly when Canelo willingly gave him some great opportunities. Most of his fans still won't admit that he's losing a step. It's easier to blame Canelo for 'running', and accuse Byrd of everything from corruption to ******ity.

Both have to go to the drawing board
If those small similarities I see are the same; then, both have to adjust their battle plan and impose their will in a way or another to get a conclusive winner, because their styles cancel each other out in the first fight.

I'm not interested in what percentage of viewers were either biased or foolish. GGG fans thought Golovkin would smash right through a feeble, young 'Canela'. Now he's being respectfully called "a top 5 P4P boxer". Sounds like you may have been more impressed by Canelo's performance than you're willing to admit. It's OK to go against the grain. Don't be nervous. Just listen to your conscience. Canelo deserved to win that fight.Comment

didnt his fans say this before the fight that canelo made ggg wait until he got older and lose a step before finally fighting him and yall said they were making excuses before hand because ggg is gonna lose LOL...Your're right, except Canelo won 8-4. Mayweather would not have gone 50-0 if fights were judged by the loudness of 'boos'. I appreciate Golovkin's determination to press forward, but he was not particularly effective, he could make no adjustments, and he failed to attack when Canelo willingly gave him the chances.Comment

They DID accuse Team Canelo of waiting until Golovkin gets older, but I have not heard those same people actually admit that they've seen a definite decline in Golovkin's abilities yet. There's always excuses as to why he's looked underwhelming in recent fights.Comment

I'll watch it again, but in all honesty, I usually give Canelo less rounds than what I originally did the 2nd time I watchone of his fights. Reason being is he tends to fight in spurts and tries to take breaks. That results in me being more aware of him getting outworked quite often over the 3 minute rounds. That's what seemed to be the case as I watched this fight on Saturday. He had nice flurries and some good movement but more often than not, ggg was in control for the majority of the round during most rounds.Comment
