    No need for a rematch.
You don't believe that aging has an impact on a fighters' abilities? And I'm not quite sure we have the same understanding of the word 'average'.

We'll see. I know Canelo wanted the initial fight and it wasn't him delaying it. At least I firmly believe that. I have to say just looking at him after this fight I'm not so sure right now he wants to fight again. He'll have some time to relax and let things settle but He just gave me a vibe that said damn that was really tough.

I have a lot of respect for Canelo. I just saw a guy IMO after that fight who really didn't feel he won. His body language and face just didn't have that "I did it". At the end of the fight he just doesn't have the look I expect of a winner. His trainer almost had to lift him up.

If Golovkin is ready I hope he fights in December. I hope he doesn't delay his career because I don't know how many more years he has.

As for Canelo I hope he gets back in the ring as soon as he is ready. If he isn't wanting a rematch I hope he doesn't play it out so everyone can do their own thing. This isn't just about Canelo and Golovkin but the whole MW division.
dang dude.. everything you said is true man.. i had the same vibe about canelo not wanting to fight..i know his face looked pretty clean but. he really took some heavy ass punches..and he was very tired and ggg was all over him.. idk if he wants to go thru all that again.

Fans of either fighter who have never fought any sort of amateur or professional fights (probably 99+ percent of message board sites) picked their respective favorite fighter as the winner. That being said, if you (Canelo fan I'm guessing?) think Golovkin has been steadily declining and he still at 35 fought-- and in many minds, decisively beat Canelo, then what does that say about Canelo?
I was more impressed with Canelo's versatility, defense, and overall skills than I was with Golovkin's aggressiveness & determination. It says to me that Canelo is a better boxer. I have to base my opinion on what I saw, not what goes on 'in many minds'. I can't readjust my opinion based on peer pressure or ESPN polls. Furthermore, ESPN cannot possibly know what 90% of professional MMA and boxing athletes thought since they only polled 1% of professional MMA and boxing athletes. The fighters who DO believe Golovkin convincingly won the fight are entitled to their opinion, but they should probably just stick to fighting. Just like not every fighter is cut-out to be a coach, many are not fit to be a judge.

GGG wants to fight for 5 years? GGG is physically gets worse. He just needs to stop fighting. In the rematches he will lose to Canelo and Jacobs. Young lion Charlo will also beat him. You can't compete with young strong skilled guys. Go home GGG. I don't want to see you knocked out brutally.

Won't get me to buy the rematch aftwer this corrupt outcome. They can say what they want and Canelo's management can buy all the judges they'd like but GG won this fight easy...Next!

For some reason id like to see gassiev v alvarez at a catchweight I think the russian manchild would be just as relentless as trip and being in the same camp he could devise a strategy to pressurise and target nelos body I could see gassiev either getting sparked with a counter uppercut or pulling off the upset with massive left hook like he handed on that American bloke against the ropes shocking knockout

Before everyone start bashing Canelo, everyone thought the Jacobs vs GGG was close and that rematch is no where near in the future. What comes around goes around.

I hope it's all just posturing and they get the rematch together for Cinco de Mayo. I can't imagine a bigger or better fight for either guy at this point.

The expiration date on this is pretty limited IMO.

Curious if Golovkin still fights in December regardless? Maybe him and BJS make it happen? Charlo is looming. Jacobs rematch isn't out of the question. Cotto wants a last fight with somebody (but probably not GGG).

After seeing some of the shots Golovkin ate last Saturday, I'm not sure anyone will be sleeping Golovkin in the near future. I jumped up and yelled at the TV in round 9 when Canelo landed that nuclear missle of a hook (I thought for sure he would have to go). But if Golovkin ends up with a December fight with someone else and he doesn't truck through them, then I'd say your theory is pretty much confirmed as far as him diminishing fight by fight.

The jury is still out for me just because I think Jacobs and Canelo are both A level fighters. Alongside GGG they are still the top 3 in the 160 lbs. picture. Waiting for Charlo to make a big statement. And basically expecting BJS to get beat by pretty much any of these guys mentioned.

He's obviously slowing down, the eye test doesn't lie.

Either he's not getting physically better by the age of 35. Pressure fighters don't really peak over 32/33 let alone 35...

If you were a bit correct and non biased towards triple, if you knew boxing, you would admit it.

You are roasting a guy who holds 4 belts in a division.

Calling GGG a fraud and a duck having Tank in your avy, you're obviously a TMT idiot so I don't know why I'm losing time explaining you boxing.

I guess you had Nelo winning.

Any person having Nelo winning is a POS or ******, period.
Insults are for morons. Keep crying.
