canelo and ggg are both legit no need to bash either guy unless youre a fanboy or a hater or both
Exactly. I give Canelo props for stepping up to face GGG when although he might have already peaked and be on his way down is still an elite fighter. Let's be honest with ourselves Golovkin in his 34 straight wins proved that he was better than good. He was always a cut above the rest but once he started facing better competition in Brook, Jacobs, and Canelo he was entering a different echelon of competition.

You can't knock the guy because all of a sudden he's not knocking people out. I mean sure they're fun to watch but Golovkin passed to the next phase of competition after having proved that he was better than the previous bracket of opponents he was facing.

In Brooks he faced a great welterweight that gave him trouble until it was apparent that the actual middleweight was Golovkin. Jacobs was and may still be the 2nd best middleweight in the world so he's a class level fighter that's up there with GGG. Canelo has been improving and proved that he can hang with the elite and is elite himself. Competition is just getting better for Golovkin and although he may be winding down because of age he's still better than most.

All the Mexican fans were booing Canelo after the fight and they were pissed when they started streaming into the casinos. The only fans who were defending him are on this forum...

That fight was more deserving of a draw then Canelo GGG. jacobs had GGG backing up and at times stopped g from fighting his fight. with nelo after rd 3 ggg was fighting his fight
Dude, I think we watched different fights. I seen Canelo backing GGG up at times. I went and saw the jacob-GGG fight live, And I honestly think Canelo did a better job and landed way more powerful and meaningful blows than Jacobs did.

If Jacobs and Canelo is ever made, I will gladly bet with you. Im in jersey, so I could drive up to pick up my $$ to the Bronx lol

I will say, although I think Golovkin won, it's funny seeing the reaction to this result. I didn't see this reaction from the same people when Jacobs was the recipient of a bad decision.
Jacobs fought of his back foot all night long. Canelo went to the ropes on his own. For some reason his defense against the ropes seems better than when he's standing in the middle of the ring.

BTW, Jcob did not win. Close fight, but I think the knockdown gave GGG a clear Victory; Thought the Canelo-GGG was closer.

I have never seen angrier boxing fans than I did that night. The boo's at the arena were pretty shocking to say the least.

I was rooting for GGG but Canelo won the match.

Canelo was easily making GGG miss and then coming back with his own counter punches for whole of the match. GGG looked like an idiot just walking in there like a truck while Canelo would create distance and counterpunch.

The problem with Canelo now is that he's become an outcast in his own country and has practically sullied his legacy. He should have stood his ground or worked the ring effectively like Mayweather and hold the centre, not just lie back on the ropes, get jabbed like crazy and then flurry for 50 seconds and hope for the best.

                    I disagree.

Crowd booed Canelo because he clearly lost and then he acted like a c.unt because he thought he won. Had nothing do with him running.

I respect Canelo for taking the fight. He had his moments and took Golovkin's shots and his timing was great with some of his counters. He still lost though and should be happy he escaped with a draw.

True, can't remember someone being booed like that except for Golota, but he was justifiably booed for quitting - Canelo finished the fight. He was visibly affected by it. Soon as Kellerman turns away from GGG to Canelo the boos begin and intensify, at one point he pauses and looks out to the crowd. Felt sort of sorry for him. But Mexican fans know their boxing and have no patience for artsy fartsy ballerinas.
