Canelo's defence again and the threat of counters kept him from whipping to the body like he normally does. Way to easy to just say it was a flaw on Golovkin's part, Canelo stopped Golovkin going to his body with speed and movement. Even on the ropes the threat of the uppercut kept Golovkin 1/2 pace further back than normal so that his punches had to travel further than they normally do, and Canelo's head and body movement did the rest.

Enough to win him the fight ? imo no, but need look at Canelo to figure out why Golovkin couldn't do a lot of things he normally does (if Golovkin did get to do his normal thing Canelo wouldn't have seen the final bell, let alone be able to rally at the end).

I streamed the fight thru BoxNation and every single one of those British ringside announcers and studio guys had it for GGG.

Byrd needs to find and walk the same exit path that Cynthia J Ross did and leave permanently...

            Canelo round 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10,11.

117-111 for me. Golovkin career low connect percentage. Failed to put on bigdramashow and failed to even put a dent on Saul.
Well he's 35 going on 40, twilight years of his career whether people accept it or not. However so is Canelo. His "I'm going to KO blah blah BS", then his performance was the saddest thing I've ever seen.

You my friend are NOT supposed to notice these things! Just believe what the promoters tell you.

Good Point! And as I've said in previous replies I felt all the scores were tainted even the one favoring GGG. Canelo cannot win rounds simply for surviving regardless what his loyal nuthuggers will insist was a winning strategy

The 2 Boxnation commentators and the 2 "experts" in the UK studio, Garry Lockett and Amir Khan, all thought GGG won clearly. Lockett and Khan both picked Canelo to win before the fight.
