Yes you're right regarding that. I think Jimraynors thread containting more or less all the medias scorecards has a typo. My apologies for using him as a source.

He could have taken it if he threw more punches .... he didn't he fought in little spurts and took most of the middle rounds off

I'm a fan of both fighters so I watched the fight as a neutral . GGG won that fight .

Still will be sweet to watch a rematch but it is what it is
I have no personal affinity to either fighter. I'm not from Mexico or Kazakhstan. I watched it as a neutral. That's the best thing about it, we get to see it again.

He didn't win easy he had to press forward non stop behind the jab never letting Canella rest he won 8-4 7/5 if your biased. Easy is 8-2

GGG why no massive body attack when he was spent in the middle rounds before he got his second win when he was gasping for air take the ribs the liver the last air?

I'm British, wasn't watching the HBO stream and still had GGG winning (8-4).

It's all very well saying Canelo made him miss a lot, which he did. However, Canelo still has to be landing enough of his own shots to take the rounds which is where I disagree with you. He did land occasional eye catching shots as well as more less significant ones but in my opinion this work wasn't enough to take enough rounds to win the fight.

This seems to be supported by the compubox statistics too which had GGG outlanding Canelo in 10 of 12 rounds (1 tied) and just 4 power punch difference over the course of the fight. Bearing that in mind, Canelo would have to be hurting him or really standing out in some other way to take those rounds.

Of course it's a subjective sport and people see things slightly differently and it would only take Canelo winning two rounds that I gave to GGG for it to be a draw and anyone being honest would admit there were close rounds so I certainly wouldn't call it a robbery.

BUT... 118-110 is bonkers, giving GGG just two rounds is delusional, which was even admitted by Canelo's number 1 fan, De La Hoya. If he's saying he only had Canelo up by one round then you know GGG got hard done by.

Hey!! GGG !! You just learned a valuable lesson. There's money to be made in boxing and not only as a fighter. Her score was bad for you but great for her believe me! She'll be sought after by other promoters to "score" other big fights because she plays ball! Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that boxing is corrupt and especially in Nevada. How many of these crooked decisions will it take before some type of national controls are put in place and promoters are no longer allowed to pick so called judges. This happens way more than the public realizes. It's not right in such a dangerous sport that the scoring is so crooked like in this fight and the controlling promoter whose fighter benefits from it feins shock. Think about it while we're all crying about the 10-2 blatant score no one is questioning the overall fact GGG won a wide decision and barely escaped with a draw!!! Watch the fight again and score it fairly, GGG easily won this and it doesn't take a so called expert to figure this out !! Only the Canelo nut huggers are claiming otherwise, no other judges or nonbiased commentators. All the judging was tainted and Canelo easily lost this. Good fight but Canelo lost running away, pardon the pun.

Wouldn't surprise me as Canelo's got great defence, probably the best Golovkin ever faced. That's credit to Canelo not a diss on Golovkin.

Well byrd has "temporarily stepped down" and vegas has refunded bunch of betting money lol. Hope this stuff starts changing. They should do the right thing and rescore the fight, give ggg deserved win and have rematch in may. Although canelos team clearly dont want anymore of ggg
