That's what quite a few rounds came down to.
    They both missed a lot.

GG made the fight and consistently landed his jab.

He made the fight moving foreward off the jab.

Canelo didn't take away anything...all he did was imitate Lara
He didn't take away gs body attack? Abel said he did. I'm pretty sure the gameplan wasn't "just jab"

The wide majority of boxing experts had Golovkin winning so why should anyone listen to your opinion? You're the one with a clearly erroneous opinion.

He took it away by running like Lara.

That still didn't win him the fight.

GG was pumping him with that jab all night.

How a bigger man with better footwork, stronger, heavier hands, better jab, more comfort at 160 weight, and better boxing pedigree could not decisively beat or knockout someone that was smaller, slower feet, gassed, no power, and inferior amateur pedigree?

How you ggg fanatics going to explain THIS? How?

No, ggg was supposed to cut off the ring and this fight exposed that his ability to cut off the ring was exposed exponentially! Everyone claimed he was the best pressure fighter in the sport(he is def one of the best/arguably the best) with the best cutting the ring ability but a guy with slow feet outmanuevered him!

Potshots? You score PROBING jabs but not combos to the body and head but call it "potshots" man get off the crackpot!

That's the point, without power ggg would be an average with a decent stiff jab which is what I'm trying to tell you!

Don't let HBO, Jim Lampley and Harold Lederman controll how you think!

Do research on past fights who used the ring to give themselves better angles and to set traps!

What happened when Canelo decided to stand with GGG in the middle of the ring? He went to the body over and over and ggg would throw that same telegraphed overhand right or jab over and over!

He would be a fighter who comes forward, has very little defensive responsibility, throws volume punches and basically his game would be volume punching but with slow hand speed!

He'd get beaten up honestly without that heavy handedness cuz in boxing it's all about timing and inches and Canelo consistently made him miss with that right hand and then countered when he wanted!

Just LOOK at their faces at the post fight conferences, who would you rather be!

Some ggg fans cleaner punches won him the fight against Jacobs despite the knockdown but what Canelo's cleaner harder punches!
I watched the fight with Claus Borre commentating.
Canelo's combos were nothing but gloves. I don't think he landed 50 punches in that fight.

Golovkin landed 108 jabs and 110 power punches.

Alvarez landed only 43 jabs on Floyd and 55 jabs on Golovkin.

Good to see double-standards and bias are still thriving among the casuals and haters.
What's really ironic is that against Jacobs, people made the case that Golovkin's jab is "like a power punch and that's why he won" - yet against Canelo they totally ignored it.

GGG beat canelo, and it was NOT because of aggression.

Froch beat dirrell, punches were about equal, and froch came forwrd, which won him the fight
