How about you kids go back to watching Rocky 3 and 4?
People who award aggression over clean punches and counter-punching

For real, Canelo landed all the cleanest, hardest shots of the round. He was constantly countering ggg off the ropes, dominating the center of the ring.
All ggg could do is plod forward like a ****** and get peppered but g tards think that's good work

Yep, it's sad really cause Canelo landed the much cleaner punches but GGG gave the impression that he was the tougher man, which he is but not the better boxer. Also, I have no idea who is doing the punch stats but I thought Canelo landed more jabs, so I don't know why the huge disparity in GGG's favour.Comment

Thank you for posting this. The bold is exactly why Canelo can't be given credit. This is the problem with people who can't reconcile Manny losing.
You can't show up 1 minute of a round and be given that round because you get a few nice looking punches. It doesn't work that way.
That's why Jeff "The Hornet" Horn beat Manny.
That's why Ward beat Kovalev.
That's why Golovkin beat Canelo - albeit only by one round.Comment

It is usually correct that you can't win by flurrying.
But when the best blows of the round are landed in the flurry and the guy who ate them does nothing of note the rest of the round, that round should and often does go to the guy who flurried.
Golovkin did an awful lot of fruitless chasing last night. Did a lot of missing.
Triple G usually lands 46% of his power shots. Last night? 32%
Defense counts too...Last edited by koolkc107; 09-17-2017, 10:16 AM.Comment

Landing clean shot every now and again while getting hit pushed back and controlled don't win fightsComment
