    It's the same damn thing.

He could have forced purse bids on both Cotto and Canelo and chose not to.
letting? he was promised the fight if he allowed those fights to happen. eventually he realized canelo was full of crap and took the belt so your point makes no sense. you wanted him to know canelo was going to duck before he ducked? makes no sense at all and you know it.

All good points and something else that has to come into play is a fighter's intent. Did Ward ever truly intend to fight GGG? And if so, what shows that intent?

To my knowledge, there is nothing showing Ward wanted the fight. First off, since beating Froch, he had one fight against Dawson in 2012 and one against Rodriguez in 2013.

Ward in the period of 2013-early 2015 did not fight, why? Because of various contractual disputes and court cases. When he did return, he did so at 170+lb against a man who had never fought at the weight.

GGG by 2013/14 was becoming a known commodity, by 2015 was a bonafide HBO headliner. In none of those years was Ward either available to fight or willing to fight, especially considering the weight difference. At what stage was Ward willing to either entertain a move down to 160 or catchweight 164? Would he have ever fought GGG even at 168? even though he was contractually unable to fight any one at one particular point?

Upon his full time return, which has been 2016 and now 2017, Ward has fought as a fully fledged light heavyweight. In that same time period, GGG has made no bones about fighting Canelo. Previously he wanted Cotto who downright turned him down. GGG wants lineal at mw....the idea of fighting a light heavyweight wh ohas only just come back to ful time boxing is beyond the realm of plausibility and there seems to be no intent from Ward anyway.

          Why doesn't it make sense?

He could have forced those fights but chose to fight lesser instead.

Why didn't he try and make a Ward fight when he knew Canelo didn't want to fight him?

Golovkin wanted no part of Ward.

He went from anyone at 154-168 to i'm concentrating on all the belts at 160.

You've proved nothing in this thread.

Only that you don't know what the **** you're talking about. Claiming the WBC was at fault for Canelo being allowed to fight Khan. When it was Golovkin that allowed it.

Why is this even a thread...AGAIN? Everybody knows that Ward said NO to Golovkin in 2013 at the HBO meeting and decided to fight Rodriguez instead.

What about this article from August 2016?: http://www.boxingscene.com/andre-war...y-make--107486 Ward wanted to fight Golovkin in 2016 at a weight he says he can't make, hadn't made in 3 years, while struggling to make 175?

This fight was never a serious thing that actually could have happened. Ward didn't want it when it could have happened and then he pretended he wanted it when he couldn't make the weight.

There in different divisions back then and now. They keep calling GGG a bum and if it's true in their mind then Ward shouldn't need a bum on his resume, especially if he's coming up in weight.

                    But I'll say this...

If GGG was interested in fighting Bhop at the full 175 back in 2013, and wanted Froch or Chavez Jr. in 2015 at 168,

and nobody from 154-168 could hang with Golovkin because sparring is the gospel of 10oz gloves...

Then why didn't Golovin move to 168 since then?

oh that's right, at such a late age milking out 160 seems the more logical choice, so if you lose at 160, it's better than being exposed 8lbs more with ''bigger'' guys right?

                    164
I've got nothing to offer that crowd because they consistently show that they have no interest in actual proof and if you try to disrupt their circle jerk, they get violent.

The difference between guys like them and I is that I like Ward AND Golovkin, AND Kovalev, and I can be honest when one of them ***s up.

Let them have their echo chamber and don't disrupt them making eye contact w/ each other while they are cranking down.

Your argument is that in 2015 he should have known they were going to pull the rug out from him in 2016 so he should have signed to fight ward instead? dont you have to let them try to cheat you first before assuming it? once again you are using hindsight to make your argument. its flawed and thats not a serious argument and you know it.
