Good point, but calling him out is not the same as getting in the ring with him. Very easy for people to call him out knowing that they are not really on his radar (or that there are other significant barriers to making the fight...like money).

I was as surprised as everyone else when the Brook fight was announced, but I didn't really have a problem with it because GGG had spent his career fighting 4 times a year for little money while chasing a big money fight. At the time that fight was made, it didn't look like any other big money fight was in the immediate future. So he got a good payday in front of an enormous crowd.

No one else you mentioned could have brought that at that time.

Only a moron like kushking would critcise GGG for not fighting a Haymon SWW on an Eddie Hearn Promoted show in the UK.

Golovkin signed to fight Eubank Jr, a top 10 ranked MW, and Hearn brought Brook in as a replacement when Eubank pulled out.

The ironic thing is that Froch ducked GGG... but I agree for the most part with his statement...

He fought an undefeated Brook and Jacobs who KO'd a pretty good fighter in 1 round... GGG is still a question mark and that's what makes this fight interesting..

Canelo lb for lb has by far the better resume... but someone could argue that Jacobs could beat anyone that Canelo fought (other than Floyd)....

How in the hell does CanYellow have a better resume. The only star names he fought beat him. Trout, Lara Mayweather, Cotto should have been a draw. Be hasn't KOd a single Quality opponent.

Froch spit the truth. And you all G's lil fanboys are going crazy- like always. But none of them are saying Froch's wrong and G has fought anyone good. Yea, when you have hundreds of amateur fights, have had a title for over 7 years, and then spent a whole year fighting a guy who had never been in a fight just scheduled for 12 rounds and a guy two divisions lower, that is impossible to defend.

So let the ad hominem attacks fly! Screw Froch, I never did like him and always thought he was vastly overrated, but that does not change the fact that G has fought no one of any significance as a pro. With the exception of Jacobs his last fight. And now, he takes on his first real opponent since a tougher foe just became his mandatory. That is just the facts. You can lay all the excuses out there you want, but that is it. Unless G beats Canelo and beats Charlo or at least one other A-level opponent he will always go down for dodging the toughest opposition.
