casual fans thinks cotto is easy to beat.

when i went mma forums or other sports forum many people think miguel cotto as kinda bum. i even saw that some conor fans thought mcgregor will beat cotto at early round.

maybe thats because cotto fought pacquiao, maweather, canelo and lost, casual fans only see big fights, and saw only cotto lost.
that's why many guys think he is kinda b- class fighter.it's kinda sad.. but real fans know this mofo is tough..

golovkin is top class middleweight fighter. it's not fair. in 150lb? i think 50-50, but upper 154lb there is too much weight differences

          cotto will stop conor.

anyways off topic, but i always hear fighters that fought cotto that says he's a very hard puncher, floyd said it, pac said it, but it seems like his punches doesnt phase his opponents at all.

marg took his best shot, smile and came forward, was never dropped once. kamegai, same thing, took cotto's best shot and still came forward.

I've never seen Margo drop for that matter, with the exception of Mosley. There are certain fighters no matter how hard you hit, they just don't go down. example Danny Garcia.

Even though Tony took the W in the first fight, he took a hell of a lot of lasting damage that IMO, fast forwarded the end of his career at the top. Then meeting Pacquiao just took care of whatever was left and emptied the can.

i understand that, but its not just marg. cotto just fought kamegai and literally hit him with everything he got and kamegai was still running forward, not walking, he was actually running towards cotto. even robert gurrerro seem to hurt kamegai more than cotto did.

it seems like the punches doesnt phase them but i've heard from other fighters that cotto is the strongest punchers they've faced. im not denying the fact that cotto doesnt punch hard, im just trying to figure out why he's not knocking out/down his opponents. he doesnt even bruise or cut his opponents face up.

but marg never seem hurt though.. even against a small manny, there were rounds where marg was hurt and you can tell. but in both of the cotto fight, marg was smiling and walking forward. against pac, there were times where marg could barely come forward.

I hear ya. Cotto, to me isn' really a Jr Middle wgt. It's like you just explained, yeah he can weigh 152-156 lbs on fight night, but the other Jr Middlewgts will still outweigh him by 10 plus lbs more.
