If Canelo is as good at slipping punches as you are at slipping punctuation, you might have a point.
Trout actually outlanded Canelo in jabs. By a wide margin. With the same connect rate at 14%
Trout's jab percentage rate was a bit lower against Lara (12%).
And against Rodriguez it was only 9%.

Smith also outlanded Canelo in the jabs department.

The truth is GGG probably saw the Monroe fight just like another mando fight against an american B/C fighter like Wade.
He had no respect for his power, just like GGG had no respect for Brook's.

GGG respected Lemieux and Jacobs for exemple, he knows they crack, he fought them smartly, and I expect a cautious/smart GGG to fight Canelo.

I don't know bro. I don't think Monroe Jr. is delusional. If I recall Monroe Jr. played pocket striking against ggg for what, 2 round at least? We're talkilng about a 7 KO Monroe Jr. vs an Alvarez with 34 KOs. I'm pretty sure Monroe Jr. is being straight forward and honest about probability. Didn't GGG say hes going to go fight like a monster? What does that mean? Close the ring? GGG has shown to be cautious with power punchers, first with Stevens, and then later Lemieux.
