97K sells vs. Lemiueux? You can't even get basic facts right. It was 150K. Golovkin was hardly known outside of boxing, in fact he still is relatively unknown. Canelo is more known but no where near Pac or Floyd. Golovkin got his numbers because of his hardcore supporters which are more than Ward for example.

Ward vs. Kovalev I did 165K and 130K in the second fight. Ward only probably beat Golovkin in numbers in his first fight because he had a guy who at least had a big name among boxing fans, Lemieux was hardly as big a name as Kov.

Its funny when people have some success against ggg and they view it as a moral victory. Ggg was never in trouble against Monroe nor was he in trouble against Jacobs.

I can count on one hand how many clean shots Jacobs landed on ggg and the only reason why Monroe actually landed shots was because ggg made it an in fight. Monroe gets 0 credit for what limited success he had against ggg because ggg wanted that it that way.

I do think inside is where you can get the best of him but can you deal with his Power to get inside becomes the bigger question. I don't think many can not at 160 at least!

Have to mix it up, some inside work with some movement then down the stretch maybe get inside more when he slows

ive long said this about golovkin and kovalev since the golovkin/brook fight and def after the first ward/kova fight....

after golovkin/brook golovkin said "he try to make it a street fight"..of which i saw nothing of the sorts from brook....these guys like ideal space/distance/range....when u can frustrate that i dont think they are as good...and i think it makes them uncomfortable
