when it was CLEARLY OBVIOUS that lil'G was not interested, Ward moved on..... to BIGGER and BETTER things
ward wanted ggg to postpone the wbc mandatory and fight him. thats a fact. just look at the timeline of when the fight would have happened. ward is the one who wanted a tuneup not ggg. it was ward! lets break it down. tuneup for ward late in the year and then a ggg fight next year cept......the wbc said they were ordering the canelo/cotto winner in november to fight ggg so how in the world is ggg going to fit a tuneup and a ward fight in the time frame of 3-4 months? makes no sense at all and no one reasonable would ever do that with such a huge fight on the line. yes in retrospective the wbc lied and let canelo fight khan but they couldnt possibly know that at the time. ward fans never ever ask the question of why didnt ward want to fight ggg right away??? ward knew that ggg was set to fight the wbc winner next and yet he still expected ggg to postpone? it was laughable and a poor attempt to trick people into thinking ggg actually ducked. unfortunately low information fans actually believed it!

        THE LIE:

Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154.....

        THE TRUTH:

        Ward, 164 or No Fight.....
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to bud

        Canelo, 160 or no fight.....
Gennady Golovkin's trainer, Abel Sanchez, said the middleweight titleholder would never agree to fight lineal champion Canelo Alvarez at anything less than 160 pounds -- "not even an ounce."

sorry if that made you cry

and it's Ward that declined the fight last.

so I don't understand how people can spin it like GGG ducking. just LMAO
I just don't see that the stars were aligned for these guys to have had a fight. It was always a long shot. Golovkin was never established and in the position he needed to be to fight Ward or for someone like Floyd to fight Golovkin. If Golovkin is fighting Martinez June 2014 and wins things likely look a lot different. Then maybe there might be a fight, but it didn't happen that way.

Willie "I'm Done" Monroe gives us the code for beating Golovkin. WTF
I like Willie and I hope he destroys Saunders but he aint ready for prime time. The reason he had some sucess against Golovkin was cause Golovkin had no respect for Willie's power and was walking thru shots going for the KO.

Golovkin did a number on him

GGG utterly embarrassed him, but Monroe lives off of a few seconds success where ggg smiles and proceeds to utterly destroy him.

Weeks ago Monroe was pointing out Canelo team wouldn't fight him.

When asked about Monroe GGG laughed and said he hits like a flea. That's got Monroe pissed.

won't fight him at 168 lbs.

There was no 168 offer. The question was asked of Ward because of a response from K2 to a 168 question. All media driven. The Ward Golovkin fight has been dead since Ward announced a permanent move to 175.

I haven't really seen any evidence that Canelo is a good inside fighter.

He prefers to fight at mid range same as Golovkin. But in my opinion Golovkin is a bit more rangier while Canelo is more explosive.

But I don't can't see how inside fighting is an advantage for the red head.
