Monzon's resume is trash and Roy didn't fight enough high quality opposition. Resume matters just as much as skills

Unless of course Golovkin destroys Canelo. That is the only way I'll likely jump Golovkin over Ward. He needs to basically demolish Canelo.

This is what you said about Hagler on another thread.

"Hagler is considered to be the greatest MW of all time which is arguable. But looking at his resume all his big wins were against smaller men moving up like Hearns and Duran. There's not one MW on his resume that screams "Great" if anything, Jones and Monzon have better resumes. Most of the greats went up and challenged themselves. Hagler didn't seem to want to do that. He could've went up and faced Michael Spinks but he chose to take the easy way out and stay in a dead division. Why does Hagler get a pass."

You said Jones and Monzon have a better resume than Hagler but now you rate Marvin above them.
Stop with the wild criticisms already.
It doesn't look good on you..

            no he doesn't.

Ward's best win is a foul infested affair over Froch by 1-2 rounds as seen by Ward's hometown judges.

That's my opinion, of course you are entitled to your own. I'm a huge GGG fan, but IMO eeking out a W against Canelo is not enough to make him P4P number one in my book. I think Ward's hold on the spot is very soft.

Excluding Monzon and including the winner of Canelo-Golovkin demonstrates a lack of credibility.

Yep. Gennady is a great jabber. Canelo has a history of not being able to avoid jabs. No further analysis necessary

Canelo may suffer extreme brain damage in this fight. But will anybody be able to tell the difference?
