Canelo is legit MW, GGG is not to blame if Canelo drained himself like crazy (thanks to his body that allowed it) to make weight at WW and JMW.

Canelo has been a legit MW for a long time. Also fighting at 155 is technically within the MW weight class, so by rights he has fought within that weight class for a while.

He only went back down to 154 an picked the easiest champion as an excuse to avoid GGG for another year by pretending they're not a MW. Canelo was a dead man at 154, they just knew Smith is genuine domestic level and could get away with it.
