Anything other than 8 rounds to 4 for Jacobs vs. Triple G is a TRAVESTY!

I had it a single point win for JAcobs.

So 7-5 in rounds with the KD for GG.

Can see it going either way. Very close fight. GG was lucky

It wasn't a close fight. The number of power shots landed were almost equal, yet the number of jabs were in favour of GGG. And GGG landed the more powerful shots, and he had the knockdown.

      How is this even close?

Yes, I am the delusional ones, because I bring the facts.
Name 7 rounds that Jacobs won.

It's cool to disagree with the decision and think Jacobs won. But if you scored it 8-4 Jacobs, you have no idea what you're talking about and this thread is dead.

The fight got comparisons to Ward Kovalev 1 for a reason. I'm ok with the decision but I had Jacobs winning when i watched, too. He didn't get robbed though...

I hate to say it but Harold Lederman's or boxingscene's card are probably the only possible way of getting to a Golovkin win. Not a fan of Lederman but his card wasn't bad.

You could say he won the first 3 rounds, 7, 8 10 and 11 if you wanted to. You guys need to understand what swing rounds are.

The decision was, at best, an arguable decision.

What's a shame is that little gigi didnt give him the rematch he deserves. Wonder why....

Fully disagree. GGG had 7 clear rounds Jacobs had 3 rounds. 2 were disputable. Even if you gave those 2 to Jacobs that's 7-5 + KD to GGG. 115-112 for GGG. If Jacobs would have dropped GGG in that fight, then it would have been close and would be more-comparable to Ward-Kov I. As it was, GGG was the clear agressor and had Jacobs on the backfoot and on the defensive.

In the end, Jacobs isn't doing much at all since, and GGG is fighting Canelo in a Mega fight that pretty much all boxing fans can't wait to see.
