Part of it was he had 2 Mexican big name B sides and another legend in PAC. Then he had the ******s in UFC thinking Conor had a chance.

The other part is 3/4 of the people proabbly bought the PPV hoping he'd lose. People pay to see the bad guy lose. In this case, they never got their wish

All those guys are huge names but only Manny was selling millions of PPVs against other fighters not named Floyd. Oscar for all the talk about him being a superstar, he only sold a millions PPVs 4 times, and 2 of those times it was because he fought Floyd and Manny.

Top Rank do a piss poor job at promoting because they want fights that benefit them (in-house) more than the fighters they're promoting. It's well known Arum didn't want Mayweather to fight De La Hoya.

He's made enough people hate him so deeply that they were willing to pay to see him get killed in the ring. (Plus his fans and skills.)

He kept winning but more importantly, i believe Floyd was a case of a fighter being at the place at the right time. Being surrounded by the right people like Haymon had a big part as well.

Floyd has money luck on his side. Of all the rich people that i deal with, they have something in common. BESIdes the hard work and connection, these people who make sht load $ have money luck on their side.

                    Two words

                    Al Haymon.

That man made my 13 yr old ask me who money mayweather was.

Arum and king are old school guys in an old school business. Take too much for themselves and give little to others.

                    Its pimpin
