Not sure if Canelo can take GGG's hard pucnhes (especially the left hook), although he has never been down so far in his career. What I wonder more about is if GGG can take Canelo's well timed and vicious body punches. No opponent of GGG's has ever attempted any sustained body punching.

I expect Canelo to win via body shots.

Canelo has one of the best chins in boxing. GGG will have to work his body hard in the first half of the fight. He won't be knocking out Canelo to the jaw or temple. I think this one goes the distance.

when **** gets real, the boxingscene new member list flourishes

I did not even say that Canelo will beat Golovkin

but I did say.....

there will be no knockout, that fight is going 12 HARD rounds..... Golovkin is getting old, and boxing is a young man's game..... and..... at least in spots, the fat red kid will lite that boy up like a christmas tree..... he has excellent skills and great timing

I'm on the fence about this fight. I actually like both but Canelo has faced the better opposition by far imo and that should account for something, right? GGG is not this indestructible machine his fans and media make him out to be. There's definitely things that can be exploited and if Canelo had better footwork, I would confidently pick him to win.

GGG by body shot you all act like he can't touch the body up like Connello. If Connello tries going body shot for body shot like he did against Liam Smith he's going to be laying on the canvas like Oscar vs. Bhop around the same round too.
