That's the way I see it too. It kind of assumes Golovkin will fight light on his feet (like he did Lemoo and Jacobs) vs the flat-footed way he fought Brook and Monroe (after round 1), which I think is a fair assumption.

I can't think how he's going to do it as Golovkin's jab is quite accurate and rangy, and if Canelo ducks and goes forward, Golovkin is an effective counter-puncher. Jacobs had success with his reach and foot movement to stick and move, which made Golovkin have to keep resetting. Canelo has to find a different way.

Best guess at the moment is Canelo tries to use head and upper body movement (which he has); his own jab (which is pretty good although not as rangy as Golovkins) to stand his ground and try to keep Golovkin on the outside. But then Golovkin probably wants to stay on the outside for the early part of the fight and if its jab-for-jab, he's got the advantage.

Can't yet see how Canelo's going to do it.

Looking forward to watch this fight. If this fight would'vev happened 2 or even 1 year ago, I would'vev thought GGG dominated, but now 50/50.

Alvarez avoided Cotto's jabs pretty well by using upper body movement. I think jabs are not problem for Canelo. I am afraid that fight to be same as GGG-Ouma. During exchanges GGG gets hit too much. We saw it against Jacobs and Ouma. GGG must move like against Lemieux.

I have to give Canelo props on having his first fight at 160 be against the division's best. Win or lose, if Canelo goes to war I'll become a fan as I'm sure his stock will grow afterwards. I can't wait for this fight. Should be awesome.

I must be one of the very few that thinks Canelo has a Speed, Movement, and punch combination advantage over GGG. This should be a good fight, but I envision Canelo withstanding an early onslaught by GGG to win, most likely on points, but wouldn't be surprised if there's a flash knockout of sorts. Just keep in mind, GGG hasn't faced very strong opponents with the exception of Danny Jacobs.
