Not a bad way to bow out of the fight game, beat the crap out of your most notorious rival, why not?

Besides, lets not pretend Margarito wasn't on his way to stopping Cotto in the rematch till the ref came in to the rescue using Margo's ****ed up eye as the catalyst. I'm just sayin.....

All I can say about the Cotto vs Alverez fight is fans should watch the fight without the sound up so the announcers don't infuence the rounds. I honestly thought Cotto beat Alverez by a comfortable margin! I know thats its not a popular decision but I'm sticking to it. I've watched it a few times and don't see the blow out for Alverez that the money guys have convinced everyone they saw. In the end it goes down as a win for Alverez but I ain't buying it

Funny you mention that. I watched that fight a few times after it happened with sound and without sound a total of 4 to 5 times.

And I came up with different scores a few times. All were close though.

The thing is with the sound you can hear the punches. Canelo did land the harder shots naturally since he was the younger bigger stronger man. But a few times when I scored I had Cotto winning close, a few times I scored for Canelo. The sound viewings were scored for Canelo, the no sound viewings for Cotto. It was interesting.

As a matter a fact I may score it again soon. I haven't watched it since 2015, so I think I'll score it again to see what I come up with.
