1) TEAM Golovkin claimed they would fight anyone. However, did Golovkin himself say he would do that or wanted to do that? If not, then what exactly is your point? If yes, then provide the evidence.
2) How many fights did Erislandy Lara have at 160 pounds? Did he become the mandatory challenger to GGG at 160 pounds? Heck, did he even try to become a mandatory challenger at 160 pounds to GGG's titles? The answer is a resounding NO to all these questions. Those are not 'impossible circumstances' as you're claiming. Saying GGG refused to fight Erislandy Lara is like saying Wladimir Klitschko refused to fight a top cruiserweight. They are both in different divisions. If 160 pounds is as weak as you claim it is and if Erislandy Lara is as good as you claim him to be, then why not just go to 160 pounds and force GGG to fight him by becoming the mandatory challenger? If GGG still avoided Lara after that, then you could justifiably claim that GGG is at fault for a proper 'duck'.
3) Andre Ward's physical incompetency isn't GGG's problems and thus, not his fault.
4) If you're referring to Ward and Lara as those 2 'best opponents', then they were never a 'POTENTIAL' opponent in the first place since they were never even in the same division as GGG. So he didn't 'refuse' to fight them as a 160 pound boxer. Had they competed at 160 pounds and he still avoided a fight against them, then it would be justifiable to claim he 'refused' to fight them.
5) All of that is your unsubstantiated, baseless claims. The evidence suggests it's contrary to your baseless, unsubstantiated claims. The evidence suggests that he was a top 5 160 pound boxer and he became the mandatory challenger. Those evidence carry higher credibility to your baseless, unsubstantiated claims.
6) Erislandy Lara, nor Andre Ward have ever fought at 160 pounds. So as a 160 pound boxer, it's those guys that are inferior to David Lemieux in terms of value / worth.
