As was already explained, the legal justification for the complaint has nothing to do with Arum.

But to spend millions of dollars on this suit to bankrupt the WBO and recover less than was spent . . . there is obviously an ulterior motive.

Which we've now explained to you.

Do with the information as you wish.

The WBO removes him from their rankings which causes him to lose his title shot which causes him to lose money he would've made from that fight. And if he win it also caused him to lose money from his fight with Charlo which would've been a unification. What is he supposed to do in this situation? Not sue?
End of the day this sounds corrupt and dirty as F.

This **** ain't new. Trout first sued them in 2015. The only reason this happened was because Trout was with Haymon and the WBO is in Arum's pocket. All of this will come out when it goes to trial. Get ready for some bombshells. http://www.boxingscene.com/austin-tr...e-fight--98327

And you're still not telling me what other avenues he could've taken besides suing? The damage was done. How was he supposed to recoup his losses without suing?

In the end it's one less ABC belt and it's one of the broker ones too boot. If Trout wins this it one less title to worry about and brings more clarity to the sport as a whole. Granted sucks for the guys who hold the strap but is a net positive for boxing. This is a good thing.

Outside of the uber the enforcement of Mando's the IBF is crap too and barely better than the WBO.

When I was growing up, there was just the WBC and WBA.
I remember thinking the IBF was a fake belt when they started sanctioning fights. WBO? What the hell is that? Seriously. Good luck Trout.

JUST posted in another thread about how the WBO don't rank Al Haymon fighters it is plenty of poof of their Bias so they might be FOOKED!

I hope he ***ing wins honestly because this Belt Organization taking Promoters side to the point in which you don't even rank certain fighters THAT needs to be investigated just like the WBO President was for Al Haymon being investigated

That Karma came back around rather quickly
