Ricky Hatton - B-level, not in his weight class
Miguel Cotto - Passed his prime, damaged goods.
Zab Judah- Kosta Tszyu left overs, beaten by all of his big fights, not A-level

Not saying what he's accomplished is not great because he's an amazing fighter but he hasn't gone through wars like other 35 year old fighters

Ruelas,Hernandez, Leija, Chavez 1, Gonzales,Whitaker,Camacho,Chavez 2, Quartey, Carr, Trinadad, Mosely 1, Gatti, Vargas. Plus 2 or 3 throw away fights..
Then fought Mosely again, Sturm, Hopkins then Floyd almost 3 years after Hopkins.
So about 20 fights up through the Vargas fight.
That was his absolute prime and it ended in 2003 for Mosely 2.
That's only why I say Floyd didn't have the wear and tear of some other guys even younger than him that fought much more often.and he (Oscar)also didn't win all of them.

I'd put Corrales probably second but I think Corrales was probably better after his stint in jail. Going into that fight against Mayweather he was a mess. Plus he never should have agreed to the fight at 130lbs.
Overall I agree though, Mayweather's resume looks a lot better when you just look at the names and not the details. He fought so many guys past their primes or not even near their prime. Ricky Hatton was about the most prime fighter he fought after 2003 and IMO he was always overrated. Good fighter but not great. And that fight was fought at a higher weight than he typically fought at. Wouldn't have made a difference but just something of note.
JMM was close to prime but he had no business fighting at that weight. But money talks.

The trolling on this forum never ceases to amaze me... Ridiculously ignorant thread. Half of those are A level fighters. Floyd is just A+... Stop hating kid

Whatever the case he went undefeated and made a crap load of money. He did it right. I'll never call him TBE but I got no problem saying he's the best they saw.

There are a lot of guys on his resume who have the big names but weren't the big fighters when he faced them.

DLH's peak was in the years when he fought Tito (99) and lost to Mosley (00). Let's extend it to say he was near peak when he beat Vargas (02) and lost to Mosley in the rematch (03). He probably deserved to win the Mosley rematch. But after that he went up against Strum and he should have lost. He was gifted that fight. He didn't look good. He didn't fight Floyd for another 3 years after that fight. His only win after the Strum fight and before the Floyd fight was against Ricardo Mayorga. One year after the Floyd fight DLH was utterly destroyed against Pac. So now while DLH may look like a great win the reality is he wasn't even close to prime. He wasn't a great fighter (A).
