Name 1 Prime A-level fighter that Mayweather has on his resume......

Mosley was on the decline well before Marg fight, that's why it was such a shocker at the time. Mosley was the man @ 147 when Floyd fought him, however, it cannot be ignored Mosley was coming off a 16 month layoff and had back to back training camps (16 weeks of training camp before fight) when Berto pulled out of his scheduled fight and Floyd immediately. Not to mention he looked like utter **** in his next fights. Point being...Mosley wasn't prime either.Comment

[QUOTE=megas30;18000372]You said Hatton was supposed to be a killer. You did the same about corrales. Neither of those guys were. Of all the fights you named may was only a slight underdog in one
You are a failure. I am far more successful in my life than you ever will be.Comment

It is and it isn't, depends on the severity of it!
I think Mayweather had a slight partial tear whereas he can still move it in normal ranges but the pain will increase and strength in it is reduced!
It's amazing that these fighters can have some of the most horrific and unbelievably painful injuries and still truck on!Comment

[QUOTE=soul_survivor;18000439]Corrales was seen as a killer at the time, its just after his loss to Floyd, he never really did much else besides go 2-2 against JLC and Casamayor. Hmm 50% win rate against a couple other good, not great, fighters...guess Corrales was good, not great.Comment

Yes, im not arguing that. Mosley is still a credible opponent tough. Just like alot of guys on floyds resume, thats all ive been trying to say in this thread. He beat alot of credible guys and deserves to be called the best of this era. While alot of them may have been slightly past their best they werent bums or tomato cans.Mosley was on the decline well before Marg fight, that's why it was such a shocker at the time. he also beat undefeated canelo and hatton who i consider a level fighters in their prime at the time.Comment

Fine to think that, I disagree. Hatton and Canelo wins have their "*" due to the weight classes, and in my opinion, Hatton isn't class A.Yes, im not arguing that. Pacquiao got iced by Marquez who Floyd easily beat 3 years prior.every fighter from his generation fought other elite fighters in their primes but floyd. hmm tough fights=faster decline what a shocker! also floyd retired when his division was at its best. thats gotta help longevity as opposed to getting ko'd like his peers. instead of criticizing him for these moves he gets credit! thats an amazing turnaround
I don't see how taking punishment and having a short prime counts as something positive.
Back when Pac-Floyd didnt happen the first time everyone was saying that Floyd would NEVER fight Mosley. Mosley was seen as a killer after he knocked out Margarito. After Mosley got beat he was a "shot fighter". Before Floyd beat him none of the top 147 guys wanted any of him, including Pacquiao.Comment
