He was very humble after the loss and far more likeable than he was in the build up, I hope he goes on to have a great career in the UFC rather than get exposed and gassed out again. Hes a hard worker no doubt about it.
I could definitely see that but at the same time he is totally delusional.

But in the fights he may fold quickerm

His obsession with money as well as his unrivalled skill kept him at the top imo.

I'd be like Darren Barker. If I made a big purse I'd be getting wiped out quick in my next fight and would not fight through any kind of injury.

The drive of these elite boxers is very impressive imo.
I agree. It's takes a special kind of person to train as hard as he does when he's so damn rich. Usually an athlete (Say LeBron, Jordan, Tom Brady) does it for the love of the game and because they are chasing the greats before them. Floyd doesn't even like boxing like that anymore lol. I don't really know why he could always train so hard not matter what.

Well id say his boxing skills have improved tremendously preparing to fight Floyd
If he can get his other skills up to the way they were Id think he would have improved as an MMA fighter.

Its his lack of stamina that has been severely exposed by boxing and im sure MMA fighters will take that into account when they fight him.

You people exaggerate things too much.
Didn't you see him partying all over the place with huge smile on his face greeting jubilant fans right after the circus?
He's a millionaire now. 1000 times better off than any schmo like us.

most likely that 80 millions paycheck will retire him soon.

                His UFC career is done.

How could he be motivated to face killers in the octagon like Lee or Ferguson for 1.5 million when he could face veteran with pillow gloves for 8 figures like Malignaggi or Kahn.

Mayweather doesn't rob any fighter of their soul, so put the crack pipe down. The man whose goal it is to win by decision doesn't destroy fighters physically or mentally. The guy who put himself at an advantage of nearly every opponent who was either shot, young, or C-rate at best doesn't take anyone's soul. If anything, he has robbed the sport of it's soul with the wave of casuals such as yourself kneeling and bobbing on his 4-incher and praising him like a God.

For Floyd, it's a pride thing. He would never let people see him out of shape and vulnerable if he can possibly help it. And boxers do miss the public eye and cheers and jeers a lot.

On a similar note, I worked for a major company whose ceo was worth many billions and he would literally come to meetings with junior engineers and ask good questions too.

and u think to urself, if i had 1 percent of what he had, i'd just call it a day and relax full time.

I don't blame either guy for pursuing less violent amusements for the rest of their lives.
