Conor lost in the very first round just by the way Mayweather was swatting down his best shots like he was playing patty cake with his little sister.

Walked him down let the sucker punch himself out then proceeded to land the straight right at will.

McGregor had no pop past the 3rd, was throwing wild hammer punches and had absolutely no response for Mayweather upper body movement. Floyd just walking him down hands up not even caring about the body cuz Conor had nothing. That was a sad, sad display.

Knocked silly by a man no one in boxing considers a power guy.

That should mean some serious reassessment behind closed gym doors...
In reality, MMA was elevated after last night.

The so-called 'amateur' from MMA landed more punches/at a higher rate than Boxing Hall of Famers did against Floyd, the defensive master.

This "fight" happened under a specific set of rules to keep Floyd alive -- Everyone knew that going into it.

The Best Ever in Boxing did what he was supposed to do... in Boxing.

Conor dared greatly and earned the adulation of all sides.

Are you eating your crow or denying it's even on your plate?
Lol, floyd fought with no defense, he walked in a straight line, looked for no angles, and threw no punches at all in the first 6 rounds. Just boxed for fun in round 7 and 8, and didnt start boxing more or less seriously, but not completely serious, at 9th. The game was over at 10th.

Well, yes, given those conditions, I guess that even connor can armpunch a defenceless head-first floyd. Who cares? those pit-pat punches woundt hurt a babygirl. After watching this fight I'm 100% sure malignagi was not knocked down. Connor's power is beyond pathetic. He punched floyd like a couple of times, well, yes, why would he care to avoid being punched by pit-pat little kitty's punches?

Rewatch the fight, Conor did as good as he could possibly do but overall he didn't do much, not to mention that he gassed and didn't seem to have much power. Floyd looked rusty and still controlled the fight and knocked him out.

I give Conor the same amount of respect Floyd gave him during the fight: zero.

If Conor deserved boxing's respect, he would have to get Floyd's respect in the ring first. Instead a much smaller ****ing defensive fighter stood in front of him and walked him down. It's what you do to beginners in sparring who can't bring solid punches together.

That's exactly what I thought. The way floyd finished connor when he decided to end the fight is a complete disrespect. He used none of his arsenal, he just walked in a straight line, laughing at connor's punches and beating the **** out of him.

The best striker in MMA who was hyped as having some sort of death touch was proved to be totally pillowfisted by boxing standards.

28 year old "confident as a mother****er" MMA stud yet his conditioning couldn't last against a 40 year old retired boxer who was more busy visiting his strip club than training in the preparation for the fight.

All the MMA myths about MMA fighters being tough guys were exposed as well when the supposed baddest mother****er in the MMA was running away from "brittle hands" small old retired boxer and quit like a *****, waiting for the ref to save him (only to complain about early stoppage later).

The secret MMA "element of surprise" bullshido "Bruce Lee ****" was non-existent. In fact, boxing was proven to be the real martial art here, an art where an old retired frail 40 year old man easily beat and beat down a bigger mentally weak bully.

Yeah. Also LOL@ Conor being totally perplexed and in awe that Mayweather made adjustments 3 times in the fight. This just tells you what kind of bums he has been fighting in MMA, guys like Eddie Alvarez who came swinging forward and not making ANY adjustments even after being tagged doing the same thing repeatedly.

The fight proved that MMA fighters are pillowfisted and have no endurance and no chins, absolutely none.

                      These are not like boxers.
