I thought Conor would be tough and he was. In terms of skills I didn't see anything impressive except one nice uppercut early on. It was Mayweather's easiest fight

Waat.
Conor is not the best striker in MMA. Conor fans may say that, MMA fans don't say that.
47 Pro Boxers tried to drop Floyd... 47 Pro Boxers failed*... add Conor to the 47 other pillow-fisted Floyd opponents then I guess.Comment

The difference is that Floyd respected those other guys and their power. He had zero respect for Conor and his pillowfisted arm punches and stood in front of him.
Conor can't throw a punch to save his ass. This guy couldn't hurt a fly.Comment

Eh,
No Pro Boxers ever really hurt Floyd either, what of it...
Conor is not known for his cardio even in MMA...
Conor didn't get dropped, he was fatigued but clear-headed...Comment

You can't be serious about this post... Floyds game plan was to push forward... Of course he's going to get hit... He wasn't on defense He was on offense last night... how many more hits would boxing HOFers have against if he was on offense instead of defense? what does that say about his respect for Macgreggors power and skill? In reality, MMA was elevated after last night.
The so-called 'amateur' from MMA landed more punches/at a higher rate than Boxing Hall of Famers did against Floyd, the defensive master.
This "fight" happened under a specific set of rules to keep Floyd alive -- Everyone knew that going into it.
The Best Ever in Boxing did what he was supposed to do... in Boxing.
Conor dared greatly and earned the adulation of all sides.
And specific set of rules? U mean boxing rules? The fight was still dirty last night... but Money May still beat the snot out of macgreggor 50-0!Comment

Would love to see how McGregor would do against those HOFers who supposedly failed worse against Mayweather. I say McGregor doesn't make it past the 3rd against the 5'5 Filipino.Comment

Let's be honest here. No one expected Conor to win. That much was obvious. Going in, the expectations for him were set so low, it would be almost impossible for him be worse or just as bad as we thought.
Based on what most of the world thought, yes he did better than we thought because this was supposed to be a clean sweep. McGregor won at least 2 or 3 rounds. They weren't good rounds and his punches were slow, push punches, but he won those rounds.
Considering he had zero boxing experience, I thought he did decent.
At the same time, if he wants to take this sport seriously and box full time, he needs to start at the bottom.Comment

Nobody expected Floyd to just walk in to him all night even though Floyd told the world thats what he was going to do, Floyd threw 9 punches in 2 round lol and that is the only reason Connor won any rounds, as Ray Leonard said, its not about Connor it what does Floyd have left.
You people are going on about what Connor did, lets see Connor walk down a guy 20 pounds bigger he would get killed, this Irish Gorilla is supposed to be the biggest puncher in MMA and he was against one of boxings lightest punchers half his size and he was mugged,,,, lol
Connor cant punch for sht and it makes me wonder what boxings real heavy hitters would do to MMA guys when they land in 4 ounce gloves, the death rate for their sport would rise considerably.Comment
