this fight reminded everyone yet again that as excellent a defense floyd has,his offense is just average

McGregor talked all that **** but when he got in the ring Floyd walked straight into him with no fear of his power, broke McGregor down, and beat him to the point where he couldn't fight back at all.


Going from "I will knock him out in 10 seconds" to "I got knocked out but at least I got the moral victory..." Prevents me from giving him much credit at all.

it has been disappointing to see how many posters here have revealed themselves to be clueless when it comes to boxing. how can people call themselves boxing fans and be so completely ignorant?

I'm between two options, I thought he would do well in the first two rounds, but he won three. He did better than I thought, but it was negligible. He got away with dirty tactics, and fought a very negative fight. I give him credit for putting up a good fight, but at the same time I felt like he was just trying to spoil Floyd's boxing and just survive.

Exactly. I'm with you. I figured he'd come out strong, gas out, and Floyd would TKO him in 8 or 9. He looked overmatched and didn't really exceed my expectations but a round or 2. He lost to an old man that looked like an old man last night

It happened more or less as I expected. McGregor never had a chance, and against an over the hill Floyd. Floyd had zero respect for him and just came forward for the most part, and when he wanted to turn it up, he tuned up McGregor something serious. I think it was a premature stoppage, but he was going down soon.

Any mma fan who seeks small moral victories amidst the one sided bloodshed is pathetic.
