Floyd wearing the ski mask out and tweeting something about it being a great heist pretty much sums it up. Floyd just threw away the first few rounds knowing full well that novice had no chance. Then he just carelessly threw up his guard and chased Conor around the ring because he knew he could be careless. The fight was sooooo lopsided and the whole "Conor made it 10 rounds" thing is a joke. He only made it ten rounds because Floyd let him make it 10 rounds.

I think a 100yard dash guy is wasting his time training for stamina to take a look at an extreme example. I think it'd be wasted training time for a 15min athletic event to.

And I mean how many amateurs come into pro boxing ready for even 6 rds let alone 10 or 12? Not a whole lot. That would suggest to me not a whole lot of amateur boxers are training for stamina either. I think there would be things much more important to work on when your sport has a short duration of time for a event.

Again, stamina is just one issue.

Even so, with some of the ground and pound that goes on in MMA, more stamina would definitely be a plus.

Being able to throw a higher volume of punches and kicks without gassing is going to be an advantage usually.

I personally think MMA fans (and McConor fans, specifically) embarrassed themselves before and after this event. Even something as FACTUAL as: 'The best MMA fighter cannot go a 12 round fight' they still deny.

I think we see that the boxing fans are much, much more hardcore. That MMA fans are casuals who know little about their own sport, let alone boxing, or they have an agenda and won't man up. Most people that I know, who were on the fence going in to this fight, now rock with boxing due to how the MMA fans conducted themselves.

In the end, we all know what happened. There is no denying that in the history of combat sports, no human being talked so much **** and delivered so little as this McConor guy,

              This

That fight might have actually hurt MMA's reputation.

All these MMA casuals thinking MMA fighters are the best fighters in the world, could take on anyone. Well surprise surprise mother****er, it's not that simple.
