After Davis beat Walsh I posted that him and loma will be a huge fight in about a year. He does have to fight loma at some point or maybe he will be like Floyd and wait for loma to slow down them fight him.

It's not a duck, he's just not ready for Loma. How many times have you heard a guy say "give me 2 or 3 more fights and I'll be ready"? Just like Loma is not ready for Crawford. He says nobody from 140 down can beat him but he's not asking for that fight. He's asking for Rigo, which is still a good fight, but in the spirit of this topic. Why isn't he begging Arum to fight Crawford? He's not ready!

Holy smokes....Davis and Loma are in the same division and this guy brings up Crawford who is a a full 2 divisions up on Loma which Crawford himself acknowledged. Don't claim to be a champ and say you aren't ready to fight another champ IN YOUR OWN DIVISION!!!!

Somebody with Mayweather Promotions need to tell him how to deal with questions about Loma because they're going to keep coming from the Boxing Media! They all just ask the same ***ing question over and over. Don't just say "I Don't Have To Fight Him" or "Loma Fight Won't Make Me"

He 22 years old, he didn't have the long Amateur Career of a Loma. Of course he not ready right now and it is nothing wrong with fighters just saying that. Sure he has a Belt, as long as he defends that belt and take on his IBF Mandatory's like he did vs Liam Walsh, then I have no problem with him having a Belt even though he is still developing as a fighter!

There were a number of Loma fans that didn't care Marriaga was coming up from 126 and lost in his previous fight. yet if a Haymon associated fighter did this, those same clowns would be outraged.

It's best to just avoid those kind of Loma fans.

Him and his team have made it clear more than once they don't want any part of Loma.

It may be a business decision, as he risks losing and that's not good for business. But for me, whichever way you wrap it up, it's ducking if your a title holder, one of the best in the division and you identify guys you're not willing to fight.

There's still good fights for him at 130 though. Berchelt, Corrales.
