Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis: Lomachenko Fight Won't Make My Career

Especially since he's a frickin' belt holder, not just a prospect anymore. He's willing to unify against anybody but Loma. It's abundantly clear he knows the Ukrainian is kryptonite to his career. He wants to avoid a setback akin to how Gary Russell Jr faded for a while after being outclassed by Lomachenko.Comment

Cowardly ass davis. I hereby change his name to wank davis because he's a wanker. career just getting started and he's already ducking. Duckweather enables this kind of garbage as well he's spent his own career ducking and dodging fighters who were in their prime.Comment

This fight won't happen for at least a couple of years, for promotional reasons. The promoters see these guys as potential stars (money makers). It doesn't make a money sense to them right now.
As some people have already mentioned here, they will end up fighting each other in higher weights, maybe 135, most probably 140. In the meantime, it's all talk.
Davis won't be making 130 very soon.
I'm a firm believer that if you are a champion, you are ready for all comers, especially the champions in your division. If I were Davis, I'd have said, "I'm ready for anyone. Talk to my promoter." I would've shittalked Lomachenko, as well.
These guys will fight each other down the road. Some patience!Comment
