So why is GGG's resume better because his bigger opponents would (your opinion not necessarily mine) beat the 154 fighters Canelo beat?

It's better because GGG fought fighters in their prime.
I have this simple challenge. Find 5 fighters that Canelo fought.
1: Under the age of 35 at the time of the fight.
2: Within the same weight class
        3: Less than 15 months of lay-off.

Lemeuix and jacobs would put all of canelo's best wins in a body bag. But that's besides the point. GGG's vast amateur experience will play a huge role in this fight.
Stop hyping up Jacobs and (especially) Lemieux, who is just a crude puncher comparable to Kirkland who Nelo wrecked in 3. Jacobs is overhyped as well, not in Cotto or Lara's league.

I'm not convinced he's the better overall fighter...but he's definitely got a different skill set. His undoing could be his slow feet. I don't know if upper body movement alone is gonna cut it against ggg. Getting into exchanges won't work in his favor. His best hope imo, is to hurt ggg to the body...and of course if ggg looks old and flat.

Anyone dogging either guys resume is a f#cking dummy. Canelo gots the higher quality guys. GGG gots more quantity of high level guys overall. Neither is a bad thing or I'd imagine decide the outcome of their fight so compare quality vs quantity is a silly discussion.

This fight will be decided on strategy & performance + each guys ability to adjust to whats working for the other guy & not working for them. Resumes won't mean sh^t.

Canelo does not have a lot of highlight fights. He started stepping up his game in the last couple of years. When ggg turned pro he had already faced much better opposition than canelo and was much more seasoned. Amateur or not when you are facing the best in the world, it gives you more experience in the ring. Canelo's best opponents in trout, lara, mayweather, and cotto don't trump ggg's 400 amateur fights and pro fights. Not even close. Experience goes to GGG. Canelo will fold under the lights like he did against mayweather.

It only took Ishida 1 round to wreck Kirkland.

Yeah, I forgot how Lara defeated such big names as Yuri Foreman.
