100% correct. Premium channel should mean only premium fights. Guys should get one interim fight if they come off a war, or better yet just rest so they don't take damage in the gym, and then they can come back a year later 100% healthy to fight another top fight on Showtime. But Showtime should not be paying for ****ty fights just to appease fighters and eventually get a good fight. Don't they also pay way more for the good fights themselves? So if you're already paying for it, why do you have to pay for it twice?

Showtime was already more than happy to pay for the rematch; they simply had no intention of using their channel for the tune-up to the fight that they wanted to pay for.

And you're a clown if you earnestly believe that PBC's coffers are so empty that they couldn't come up with the $1.5m-$2m that'd be needed to put Santa Cruz and Mares on FOX in separate fights.

LMAO look at this guy. The article said showtime would buy the rematch but has ZERO interest in buying each guy in separate fights. It also says Leo's dad wants a tune up first and that LEO's side isn't HAPPY with the money being offered. Showtime may not go any higher than what they offered.

Fox only has 1 more date left. And the budgets are shrinking. instead of wilder or leo vs mares which could have been made in July they put Figueroa and guerrero. Fights that showtime didn't want and were cheap to make. Understand?
