I think Lomachenko would be a guy who could crossover & do some damage in MMA if he choose to. I think a lot of HW's could play ball cuz HW in the UFC is largely a stand up fighting division so Anthony Joshua with some take down defense & some kicks added to his game I believe could be the UFC champion or contend for it at very least. That said I doubt either attempt it cuz the money in MMA isn't as sweet as the money in boxing so it doesn't make any sense to do regardless of how good a boxer could be in MMA.
Good points. They bring up why don't MMA fighters make more money? Their PPV numbers are good.

Oh I'm not downplaying what she accomplished. Its a feat regardless. How many people even excel in one sport let alone two. But it wasn't as quick of a flip from pure boxer to pure MMA artist.

Plus I do believe the womans part of it is relevant cuz the womans game isn't anywhere near as deep. And I believe many female MMA fighters (Cyborg + my girl Shevchenko, who was 3-0 & fighting solid opposition before she got her MMA callup ending her boxing career, to name my top 2 picks for transitioning to boxing) could have captured boxing titles too if they had the opportunity or money in boxing for them to flip over to it.

Well the people doing PPV numbers are making $3M-$15M reportedly with PPV points which is great all things considered, but there are plenty of top 3 guys making 5 digits or low 6 digits. Its just a different setup than boxing is the main issue. Plus they don't have the Muhammad Ali Act to protect the athletes to some minimal standard which is part of the problem.

In one of Ellie's videos he said he'd been wanting to get into boxing but the UFC wouldn't let him, but now with them letting McGregor, he said they had to let him. So maybe sometime soon we'll see him in a boxing ring.

I know its been done already, but i'm talking about active boxers right now. I can see Rosado doing it, he isnt afraid to take a beating and im sure he will make decent money
It could really only be a star past his prime, a "name" in Boxing.

A star in their prime most-likely makes more money in Boxing... wouldn't be worth it to fight in MMA.

An up-n-comer (not yet a big-money star) wouldn't have the cache to draw any interest in a cross-over MMA fight. They'd just be another 'prospect' in MMA.

With at least one exception being Claressa Shields...

Don't even know why they keep comparing boxing in MMA vs boxing in Boxing when they're wearing completely different gloves.
Of course, people expect more KO/KD's in MMA than in boxing.
Of course, boxers would have advantage if everything is under boxing rules.

There are lots of 'name' fighters from MMA who would jump in to Boxing...
                    Anderson Silva
                    Nick Diaz
                    Cub Swanson
                    Stipe Miocic
                    Jorge Masvidal
                    Jimi Manuwa

The question is whether there are Boxers who would jump into MMA.

James Toney didn't take it seriously, though.

Yeah, we've already seen it happen (Holy Holm), but who's next?
