He doesn't have to prove anything. Let's get that out of the way. Question is will he be taking long layoffs and take a chance he might get the fight?

Canelo for one doesn't give a crap about mandatories. You don't expect Golovkin to come back any time soon after making a minimum of $20 mil do you? Haymon fighters would retire with that kind of money. Even if he comes back earlier than expected, he'd rather fight Saunders. There's also a possible rematch with Alvarez.

All these things take at least a year or more. Real question is why is he not interested in Jacobs who is available? Why waste a year or more waiting for something you're not even sure of?

I personally don't care about these people. Let him wait and I'd have proven I'm right. These 1-2 x a year fighters don't deserve anything.

Since when do mandatories have to prove themselves? Afaik, a mandatory is a mandatory.

Ok I'll answer that for you. When it involves defending "liked" fighters on this forum such as GGG.

Proving himself is irrelevant. If he wants to wait for his mando to come up then he can wait, he's at least 3 fights back now.

Some people simply want to whine non-stop. Starting another thread on something that has been already discussed every which way in previous threads.

i would love to see golovkin destroy charlo. who thinks charlo is a threat lol? he struggled with austin trout. i pretty much consider him willie monroe level. his biggest wins are k9 bundrage and trout. i might have even scored the trout fight even...can't remember.

julian williams is a nobody and he was only hyped because bread is his trainer.

wheres this hype suddenly come from? Noone was hyping him until they realised they could build him up as a boogeyman for ggg. Obviously you lot arent too confident about canelo doing the business lol. charlo squeaked by trout, many thought he lost. just cause he landed an uppercut on williams (who was completely unproven) doesnt suddenly make him some proven elite fighter. you all change youre mind on what you want ggg to do, keep saying he should move up to 168, let me guess if he does that you'll all start saying hes ducking charlo. he cant ever win in your books.

GG struggled with a shot to hell Kassim Ouma.

Golovkin's resume is packed with nobodies.
