Why does Charlo have to "PROVE" himself to fight GGG?

I don't mind a charlo fight, and he's a mandatory so it should happen if Golovkin stays at 160. However I would expect him to move up sometime next year, or year after that at latest. There may simply not be enough time for charlo to get a shot.
Assuming Golovkin beats Canelo, his next 2 fights should be Saunders or another wbo holder, then the ibf Mando. Then it's charlo.
I think Golovkin takes this fight easily as well. Charlo hasn't has to handle the pressure, and is moving up from 154. He's a mini, less skilled, less tough version of Jacobs right now.

Holy **** the hypocrisy is too rich to believe. You're a Floyd fan, right? Floyd always used that excuse to duck guys. It's all about risk reward. Nobody established wants to make peanuts to fight a good fighter.Last edited by stuff jones; 08-16-2017, 08:32 AM.Comment

First off, Brook was regarded by most at the time as the best welter, or at the very least 2nd. Top fighters from one division should fight top fightes from another. That is quite literally boxing.Brook didnt even prove himself at 147 and got an immediate shot at GGG..WTF did Willie Monroe prove??? or Wade?? oh wait yall are going to say Wade was mandatory right?? well so is Charlo!!!! Why all the roadblocks for Charlo??? Rosado came straight to 160 and got a shot(where did he prove himself)???
Ya'll are full of **** and refuse to just admit ya'll want no parts of Charlo as ya'll feel he is a threat
As for the complaints regarding those others fighters, I get get behind some of them. Monroe and Wade were trash and still are...then again one of them is getting a title shot.
However you can't group someone like Rosado in there, as the fight was sandwiched between GGG fighting the top mw Proksa in europe and one of the top contenders in macklin (arguably wba champ).
Now that Charlo has to work his way through eliminators (don't know how fighting a disabled man can be considered such) is at least a step in the right direction. You should be happy about this considering you're complaining about fights like Wade and so on. If Charlo works up another 2 fights or s oat mw against top opposition, he would be a worthy opponent. Is that not what you want?Comment

Charlo just fought, Canelo v GGG is happening next, hopefully the boxing media would start the hype on Charlo too, the same way they did when GGG beat Proska back in 2012. And whilst Charlo beat stiff and fringe competition we can all call him the most ducked fighter if he doesn't get an opportunity right away.Comment
