Let's think about this for a sec:

Joshua - Him and Hearn don't want Wilder until 2018. Confirmed via several interviews by Hearn.

Ortiz - All of a sudden, no longer wanted to fight Wilder. Instead wants to fight Joshua knowing darn well Joshua is going to fight Pulev. Clear duck by Ortiz.

Povetkin - fight was signed, sealed and delivered. Povetkin fails a drug test days before the fight. Somehow that's DWs fault.

Fury - Beat Wlad and retired. Wilder asked for the fight. Fury has stayed retired. I agree that's Wilder's fault

Maybe Wilder can fight Whyte, but that still leaves him in the same boat he's in now. Really doesnt do much for him.

I dont have a problem with the stiverne fight. He has to fight his mandatory and the blame lies with the WBC. I also blame povetkin for being a cheating scumbag. Should he have faced arreola though? There was better fighters available like Ortiz. Should Washington have got a shot? Again there was better options. It's maybe his management that decides but either way after stiverne we need top opposition.
