Stiverne is counting on the opportunities he had against Wilder the first time...he wont have that second chance. that was a green Wilder, now he is more developed...Like it or not, the guy has been learning on the job, Looking foward to this fight, though nobody is with me on this

Well Ortiz clearly didn't want to fight him

Is that why Wilder's manager tried to make the Ortiz fight, but Ortiz said no because he wanted to fight Joshua instead?

Or is that why Joshua wanted to do the Wlad rematch or Pulev mandatory instead of Wilder? Or maybe that's why Hearn keeps saying 2018 when mentioning Wilder?

I normally don't comment on Wilder threads but this is the only place where an African American fighter can try to make a fight and still be accused of ducking

Latest info I heard was Stiverne's representatives are trying to convince him to take a step aside deal.

I guess we will hear something one way or another in the coming days.........stay tuned.

I want to see Wilder/Ortiz and Wilder/Joshua before this rematch.

lol this is why i didnt get carried away (unlike some posters) when they said wilder ortiz was getting made. was always bull****. i bet wilder didnt put up much of a fight to avoid the stiverne rematch, hes more than happy to act like 'hey i was forced into this!'

His dreadlocks will help cushion his head when he gets laid out.

Then Luis Ortiz will climb into the ring and call out the champ.

Seems like there was pretty much no other way for Wilder to go. The WBC screwed up bigtime and now all the fans pay the price..

I was hoping it would be Ortiz next. I am probably not going to watch this fight.
