I wouldn't bet on that either. Cotto beats kamagai but as a fan of Cotto I'd rather him not fight leminrux
Cotto is the more skilled. But liminrux is too damn big.

Btw I can't spell either opponents name.

Lemieux can barely make 160 and the most Cotto weighed in for a middleweight fight was 155 against Martinez. Cotto weighed in at 153.5 against Geale and Canelo.

Cotto would request a catchweight and Lemieux kills himself already making 160, so I don't see this fight happening.

The fight that Cotto and Golden Boy should make is Cotto vs. Matthysse at 150 or something.

That is an ideal and good fight to make for Cotto's last fight, Cotto-Matthysse.

Both Cotto and Matthysse are with Golden Boy. They can fight at a catchweight of 151,150 or so, that would be good. Joel Diaz is training Matthysse so the battle of trainers would resume as well against Roach.
This is what i've been saying! would be a great matchup and makes sense for both fighters and GBP as well

Why is Cotto fighting Middleweights? Make a WW come up and fight at 154. Garcia, Thurman, Porter.

Too early for Thurman. he has to fight Spence at 147.

This fight makes no sense to me. Cotto said he wants a big fight this isnt a big fight. Maybe try luring bradley out of retirement or something like danny garcia at 150 at msg or canelo or ggg.

Rather see Cotto vs Brook at 154.
