He did wait till GGG turned 35 doe, no getting away from that. BJS openly admitted to doing exactly the same thing.

Olympic success does not always translate to the pros... in some cases it does, most of the time it doesn't. What about the fact that ggg has gone 12 one time in his career? Experience is probably the main reason, among others, that canelo lost to mayweather. We all know canelo has the edge in experience vs ggg

Experience I would favor triple g again, look how many amateur fights triple g has had, also in the pros he's no stranger to championship fights.

Not trolling at all, just taking the underdog as usual. Jacobs and Canelo has two totally different styles. I just noticed when G took a step up in competition (Jacobs) he didn't look so invincible as to when he was crushing beer cans.

And I personally thought he lost to Jacobs and will avoid the rematch at all cause.

What's your take?

I thought Danny lost because he didn't jab enough and his footwork failed him like it always does (which is why he was knocked down). Jacobs struggles to stay present in fights. That's always been his problem. I thought he gave the fight away (or didn't have the gas to close the show).

Next to Floyd (and maybe Mikey), I think GGG has the most educated jab in boxing. Its why he beat Danny and why Canelo will have some serious issues. Unless Canelo is faster/sharper than i think he is, it'll be a long night imo.

GGG is a silver medalist and has seen every style, he's the superior boxer.. canelo can't even cut off the ring yet.

Broner was faster then Garcia and we saw what happened there. Timing beats speed every time.

Also a world championship gold medal winner and 2 time Pan Asian Champion.

Canelo has faster hands than GGG and probably faster reactions, now GGG is in his mid 30s. GGG's footwork, jab, and understanding of range and timing are far better than Canelo's though. He also hits a lot harder.

Let's put this in perspective. Pre mayweather Canelo still would've beaten angulo, Kirkland, khan, Chavez jr and Smith. His win vs Lara was controversial so it wasn't an impressive performance. The 1 x factor is his fight vs cotto but again, cotto was at a 10 yr age disadvantage and pretty noticeable size disadvantage. All answers will be provided with this next fight.

Mayweather schooled Alvarez that night. I gave Alvarez 2 maybe 3 rounds if I'm being nice. But loses aren't bad loses if you learn from them and he has! Everybody else that fought Mayweather there careers tanked The ghost, Pac man, Maidana retired, Victor Ortiz hasn't been the same and Ricky Hatton to name a few. He's also learned how to make people hate him to make his fights more interesting to see him lose. So Floyd definitely rubbed off on him. I pick Canelo in this fight I just don't think ggg is the same fighter he was a year or so ago. And plus the politics of boxing favors Canelo in a close fight.
