It's probably because people like you nitpick and try to compare Apples to Oranges. They're all fruit all the same. Can't we all just get along?

Crawford is on the cusp of ATG status at 140. GGG needs to beat Canelo and maybe clean out the division for 2-3 years and he will be there too.

I think a decent amount occurs for all popular fighters, even Mayweather. Golovkin gets it more because he is public enemy #1 of the Haymonite camp. Their dislike for Golovkin began when there was talks of a fight between him and Ward and since Ward is black, he became the new champion for the Haymonite crowd after Mayweather originally retired. Then the Canelo groupies jumped on board the Golovkin hate express when Canelo gave up his title like lunch money. So Golovkin gets hate from both blacks and Hispanics...so it tends to be a lot more than others like say a Kovalev or Crawford for example. But GGG's resume pretty much equivalent to Canelo's not including Mayweather. But these groups of haters think very tribally and in a way more akin to religion and dogma where facts are not very important, rather what you want to believe to be true is the only thing that counts. For example, the same guys who hate Golovkin love Wilder and his resume. The Canelo groupies think Canelo has a far better resume than GGG and think he chose great opponents for his last few fights and were perfectly ok with him ducking top sww fighters. Just the way boxing is right now.

I don't know...ahhh....maybe because Crawford has actually moved up in weight to get fights.

He's black. You criticize him, you're labeled as racist.

I'm a fan of his but he's overrated. I said the same thing about Canelo a while back on being overrated.

Quite simply because he's moved up in weight he gets a bit more of a pass.

Unlike Golovkin he beat a reigning Champion in his backyard, although Ricky Burns should have never been champ at that point.

If we're being completely honest there's not much difference between the guys they've been beating on,Postol being the obvious exception. Hell both guys we're slapped around pretty well in the early rounds against a much smaller opponent.

Two extremely talented fighters with very thin resumes.

Crawford was huge at Lightweight, he moved up out of necessity not by choice.

Crawford doesn't fight the same style fighter over and over. He's younger. Better dynamics. Willing to fight anybody.

I guess I'm ***ing rare as hell around this place because I admire and respect both Crawford and GGG like I do Lom and Davis. I swear I am a dying breed from the crap I see put onto all these fighters. Maybe when I die someone should dissect me and figure out how the *** I can like fighters equally across all races and colors when most people on this web site dont.

I'm with you. I like Crawford and Golovkin. Too much f'n hate and a lot of seems to be emotional. But I notice like most things in life it is worse on social media. When I go to fights and talk to boxing fans we have a good time. Theh love this sport and respect these guys who put their lives on the line for our entertainment.
