Historical list would take me too long to think about. And make a bunch of people cry and send me death threats (actually that makes it tempting).

    Current fighters:

Broner. Given way too much attention for what he was because of association with floyd.

Kell Brook was the most overrated boxer pre-Golovkin. He really did very little other than be some guy who popped up as the manny/floyd thing was winding down, inherited a ****load of fans, p4p status, but his record at the time was that of a shallow prospect. It was bizarre to me.

I used to think Ward was underrated for winning the super six and not being as big a star as floyd etc -- but after the Kovalev fights i think he's switched into overrated territory. Those were not legitimate wins. A bad decision and a completely illegal finish that should have been a DQ. If he had truly moved up to 175 and proved the doubters wrong with legitimate victories great -- but those were both shady piles of **** and settled nothing, he didn't look good.

Golovkin goes in both directions. There are a ton of people who hate him and **** on everything he does like they do with all Eastern Euro fighters -- and naturally this has created a second group who worship everything he does, pretend every punch he gets hit with is "part of his plan", etc. It cracks me up.

Conor McGregor: Many of you have been tricked by all of this gossip and hype into actually giving him a chance. He's terrible.

The only truly notable win of his entire career was a close majority decision over Shawn Porter. And some people around here were calling him the best welter in the world...lol.
JESUS CHRIST I had to look up Ernie Snith on box rec. it's true 142 losses.

Olympic Gold winner, between 2009 and 2015 held the unified WBA, WBC, Ring and lineal super middleweight titles, currently ranked as the world's best light heavyweight, former two division world champion, 32-0 as a professional, hasn't lost since he was 13, and widely considered now the #1 pound for pound boxer on earth...pretty good for a guy with next to zero boxing skills.

He lost to both kovalev and sakio bika. He won his first world title by stoppage due to his 5 "accidental" headbutts.
The guy cannot throw a combination just single shots and clinching. He got the heart of a fighter and he is an inteligent guy but as a boxer he is very limited.
Having him p4p #1 is sad for boxing

For me it was Sergio Martinez. He feasted for awhile on that spectacular KO of Williams. Fought a lot of bums after. When he got beat by a shot Cotto everyone had to blame it on the knee. They couldn't fathom that he just wasn't that good.

Jermaine Taylor was way overrated. HBO compared him to Leonard.

Not trying to be argumentative....but the answer would probably be....everyone put in front of him including every other middleweight beltholder. And no...canelo and cotto were not middleweights. Now that canelo is an actual middleweight....if ggg wins...his legend grows evermore larger.
