The most overrated right now is Golovkin. His fans put him on a pedestal before even beating one live body. Jacobs exposed him for the average fighter that he is, and helped cool off the hype a little bit.

If it wasn't for Tyson most of those he fought like Spinks, Berbick, Biggs and many he fought on the way to the top would have had longer careers. Tyson made everyone look like a bum. 1986 Tyson would have annihilated holyfield and Douglas. DLH was robbed against Mosley, he beat Mayorga, Vargas, Gatti....anyone who stops Gatti and Vargas isn't overrated in my book. Oscar wasn't even Oscar when he fought Mayweather, a shadow of his former self. GTFOH.

Why does everyone think GGG is crap. I guess his fight with Saul will be biggest test against haters. Also Tyson lost to buster?? Please explain that one.

Who said Golovkin is crap? Overrated doesn't mean someone isn't good, just that lots of people think they're better than the evidence suggests. Who has Golovkin beat for people to claim him to be an ATG and P4P top 3?

Broner at the peak of his hype train -- looking back, was so overrated I really don't even have words for it.

Some thought that he'd be the face and ruler of the sport and a PPV king. Fast forward to now and he's never even going to headline his own PPV. Not a single one. And he turned out to be a B fighter at his absolute best. B minus at that. He barely sc****d by freaking Paulie Malignaggi, got urinated on in front of the entire boxing world by Marcos Maidana and got completely blown the f**k out via scoring by Shawn Porter and Mikey Garcia. He could hardly win rounds against these guys much less win the damn fights.

Now for the rest of his career he'll be a glorified gate keeper.

Some half decent lists on here with some clearly trolling and hating on great boxers like Floyd, Canelo, ODLH and GGG. Debatable I suppose for each fighter mentioned.

There really should be only one name on everyones list, right at the top, from recent history with a record to prove it.

Paulie Mallignagi. I can't even I remembered how to spell his ****ty last name, but his names been in the media so much lately, I can't help it. But he has a point about how much of a ****head Conor is.

Oh yeah no doubt. Good Lord. Halfway through his career he was still fighting guys with losing records and had a damn trilogy with Ernie freaking Smith who finished his career with 142 losses. ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-TWO LOSSES. And no that is not an exaggerated number.

The only truly notable win of his entire career was a close majority decision over Shawn Porter. And some people around here were calling him the best welter in the world...lol.

I know right. His opponents combined losses racked up close to a total of 947 losses which was extremely strange since every other fighter active in and around his weight classes had more less half that and he's been a professional longer than most of them.

Then you go back in history and dig through other weight classes and it's extremely hard to find someone with such pathetic numbers since those numbers reflect the quality of the opponents.

Sport is all about trying to be the best by proving yourself against the best. Yet here we have someone who has done literally nothing as a professional at the same weight for all his career, well over 12 years, claiming he's the best with one single debatable win with Porter.

Anyway egg on face for the kid and his fans.
