I was going to say the same thing. The 2nd half of his comment is right though. If he fights Joshua he'd have to retire, after being annihilated beyond all recognition. LOL!!

And really, a Bellew/Ward fight isn't a guaranteed Ward win. Bellew is at or near Kovalev in punching power, and he uses more awkward angles than Kovalev does. And we all saw how much trouble Ward had with Kovalev in the first fight... most saying he lost. I'd give Bellew an above average chance in that throwdown.

This is prize fighting, these guys fight for money. For me he's best the best guy at two consecutive weight classes, he's seriously disadvantaged at Cruiser, you should be happy he may lose.

Plenty fans care about moving up in weight. There is a reason its mentioned when discussing what makes Manny Mayweather Leonard etc great. To me fighting at heavy or cruiser is just as well as fighting Stevenson. Why...because beating Stevenson changes nothing if you already beat the consensus best light heavy. I guess I'm not a fan of the lets see if this guy can beat the undefeated guy. Even Ali had his nemesises.

I think Ward beats him comfortably, if he deigns to allow him to be his first opponent at heavyweight.
Bellew was kinda fat even at cruiserweight, he's not carrying much muscle as he seems to have an old school training mentality.

I can't see Ward beating a proper top 10 heavyweight, he can't wrestle and can only in and out and will have to be super quick as his reach isn't much even at 175lbs.

Cruiserweight is actually pretty competitive now, some good quality at the top, hed have an easier time for more money vs a fat one time belt holder like Bellew than vs best man standing of Breidis and co

Huge mismatch. Ward wins easily, but this is a final Bellew paycheck (and maybe Andre's last if he takes it, too).

You are undoubtedly one of the biggest pricks of this forum.

Ill watch but easy fight for Dre.

Ppl make too much of a deal with size difference but it really isnt that important unless the skills are evenly matched, if one is far more skilled than the other it makes no difference.
