Comments Thread For: Bellew: A lot Closer To Andre Ward Fight, I'll Walk Through Him!

Tony Bellew is targeting a return to the ring in December but admits a heavyweight rematch with David Haye is looking increasingly unlikely. Five months ago Liverpudlian Bellew made the step up to heavyweight to face Haye, who was stopped in the 11th round of a bout in which he suffered a ruptured Achilles.

If Ward beats Tony Bellew I wonder where he'll rank on the p4p list for EVERYONE.

Bellew is still champion in recess. Imagine Ward with the Cruiserweight title. He's already hall of fame so everything from now on is a bonus

Ward has said that he won't fight Bellew unless a belt is on the line. Because Bellew is only an Emeritus beltholder, I don't think this fight happens, unfortunately...

Ward should come to the UK, get treated with common decency for a few weeks, pick up a massive paycheck and a cruiserweight strap.

          Seriously, why wait?

Ward beats Bellew, very easily. This fight will set up a Joshua match in the UK, after that fight Ward will definitely retire.

You already know what they'll say...As it stands now, it is a complete joke for people who are supposed to know about boxing, to be ranking Loma over Ward in the P4P rankings. For the one Nicholas Walters Loma has on his ledger, Ward has Kovalev (twice), Dawson, Kessler, Froch, Abraham etc... Yet somehow in the eyes of some in the boxing community, this isn't enough. SMH

Ward just looking for a paychecks now. Ward-Bellew would 100% sellout in UK, would do decent on PPv and Ward would probably get a large purse. So he will definitely travel to UK.
