Golovkin has been carefully matched how so? That's total crap IMO. The guy has been in the middleweight division for years now and avoided no one. He's been the avoided fighter. Did he avoid Martinez, nope. Did he avoid Cotto (who was the lineal champion), nope. Did he avoid Canelo was the lineal champion, nope. He fought Jacobs and Lemieux. He chased Saunders around until he had to choose to make the Canelo fight. He was ready to fight Eubanks until he backed out. Where's the "carefully" matched?

I'm sure it is about Ward which has been explained 2 million times. When Golovkin made that comment in 2012 he was pretty desperate for a fight. Ward had his own issues and was basically inactive. Sure Golovkin said he'd drop to 154lbs to fight Mayweather. Who the f wouldn't? Millions of dollars and the recognized p4p best that was a no brainer. I don't blame Mayweather for that fight not happening. Frankly Golovkin is too big for Mayweather.

When Ward came back off his layoff he was looking for a fight and then called out Golovkin. But by this time Golovkin was in position to get his big fights and make money. Plus there was so much uncertainty with Ward anyway. He probably wasn't going to make 168lbs and Ward was known to be a tough guy to negotiate with. Those negotiations could have been down right terrible. Look what Kovalev made in the 2nd fight and Golovkin had much more going for him than Kovalev.

Golovkin made the right decision for his career it was a no brainer. I don't blame either guy that this fight didn't happen. Had Golovkin solidified the title a few years before against Martinez maybe things could have worked out but he couldn't.
      He chased Saunders? Lol

There is not one video where you will hear Golovkin say he wanted the BJS fight. Never once did he say "it's my dream to have all the belts in my home country and Astana. I need WBO belt with BJS in home country for (undisputed).

      Stop making shît up dude

Provod, the guy is not only born, but almost died of cancer. Ggg knows it so he'll take it out on the sold out golden boy tool.

He has power and good skills but also has flaws. He would much rather move down and fight an aging Mayweather than move up and fight a equally skilled fighter in Ward. I also think Canelo has what it takes to beat him but that's another story.
Please elaborate, which middleweight has GGG avoided?

On the other hand he was probably losing more of the rounds to Jacobs than GGG was, he just caught Jacobs and KO'd him back when Jacobs was younger, not as big, not having the early weigh-in and IBF advantage, and therefore probably not having as good a chin.

And Pirog went 12 rounds with Ishida, who GGG knocked through the ropes early. So I mean, Pirog was slightly more skilled than GGG, and slightly faster, but GGG is way, way more powerful. In the end, I think you have to pick GGG. Pirog was not built like Jacobs. He was skinnier I think, leaner, lighter. I do not think he would take GGG's body shots all night, and we don't really know about his chin, either. I got GGG. GGG's power and chin advantages are a lot bigger than Pirog's slight skill advantage. Why do I say slight? Remember, he was losing rounds to Jacobs, so it's not like he had Roy Jones skill.
He wasn't losing rounds to Danny. He was getting the better of him the whole fight. If not for KO, Pirog was on his way to an easy decision victory.

Did I say he avoided middleweight? Careful match making and avoiding fighters are two different things. I'm sure he thought Jacobs would be another easy win because of the loss to Pirog or the knock down to Mora.

So careful matchmaking is fighting opponents in his own weight division? lol ok.

First of all, anyone who saw Jacobs winning saw it as a close fight. Secondly, just because some people saw Jacobs as winning it doesn't give their opinions more validity than the many who thought GGG won. It was a close fight and the judges gave it to the man who was more aggressive, active and scored the only knock down. Jacobs did a hell of a job in their fight. I had it close. I was more nervous during that fight than any other GGG fight I ever saw. But Jacobs didn't do quite enough to pull it off.

No he didn't. It was a close fight but he lost.

GGG has said he wanted all the belts for a long time. BJS has one of the belts. So to suggest he wasn't interested in fighting BJS is pure bull*****.
