Funny how people still try to hold on to Tyson Fury.... Hasn't stepped in a ring in over 2 years, but people still thinks he's the best heavy???? AJ beat Wlad for his 19th professional fight - if Fury was going to come back there are lots of people he can fight to make some good $ off - someone on here tried to compare Fury's win over Wlad to Ali over Foreman -- are you smoking???? Ali was past his prime and KO'd Foreman, no one gave him a chance, similar to if Brook would have KO'd GGG...

If that's it for Fury, and hopefully though he will get in decent shape and fight again, but if he doesn't, he had a good career and became the heavyweight champion. Also ends undefeated, even though some thing McDermott beat him in their first fight, but, an excellent albeit short career. And Wladimir had a good career too but was never a great fighter by any stretch of the imagination.

The old man dominated "AJ" for large parts of the fight with the jab, and also had him out on his feet. Exciting, maybe, but it showed up his lack of boxing skills and know-how. Wlad landed about 2 meaningful punches in 12rounds against Tyson Fury. He got schooled in his own backyard.
Fury didn't and won't get the credit he deserved for that performance. The media and Matchroom zombies act like it never happened. They would have you believe Joshua is the only man ever to beat Wlad. He is the hype job and media darling, when in reality is a fake and fraud. His glass jaw and 'Mr humble' persona will exposed.

Styles make fights. AJ got dropped but stopped Klitschko, Fury won alot of (boring) rounds en route to a decision and was never remotely in danger. Neither was Wlad. One fighter went in there trying to stopWlad, the other went in there trying to beat him by decision. Both accomplished their goal. One was exciting and one was technical. None of this makes one win more impressive than the other. None of this would really tells us what would happen if a prime AJ and prime Fury got in the ring.
For what its worth, I don't think AJ has reached his peak yet. Fury had lots of potential to grow as well. The simple fact is that one is still fighting and the other isn't. No need to debate a fight that will probably never happen; tip your cap to both fighters for their accomplishments.
