Well the biggest thing here is the boxers, if people hate the boxers then they would go with Arum e.g when Arum mentions Mayweather, Rigo, Broner or Khan, if they like those boxers then they are willing to remember to call Arum out on his BS. Me? I call him out of everyone of his BS, because we know Arum's BS pattern.

Boxing fans are amazing, lmao. The dude, through the first 9 fights of his professional career rivals any fighter in HISTORY in terms of opposition difficulty level through a career's first nine fights, yet the motherf**ker still gets ****ted on left & right by some boxing fans. It's incredible, it really is. These bums sitting behind their computer screen, they'll find a reason to hate & despise anybody who gets any noticeable level of positive attention

Agreed. I am pretty stunned at how much hate he gets on these boards, although I don't necessarily agree with having him at the top of the pound for pound list yet. A win over Garcia or Rigo puts him there. My two cents. Peace.

Gee, not surprising Arum running his bigazz pie hole... yet again. Mikey seems like a straight up guy to me. I may be wrong, but that's the vibe I get. Hopefully the fight can happen... DESPITE Arum's big mouth getting in the way YET AGAIN.

Id say garcia hasnt been matched to hard. I mean he beat broner, a guy that anyone that follows boxing knew was gonna pretty much get swept, and now he acts like a guy with 9 pro fights who has a tough reseme and champions already saying they wanna wait out a fight with is being coddled? Come on now. I dig mikey a lot but he aint beating loma or crawford imo

The flipside of course is that those two were making much less for their early fights as opposed to big bucks right out of the gate.

No, the shits not warranted, but after 9 fights and being a pound for pound entrant, are they done building Lomachenko as a fighter? Are the days disappearing where a talented, hyped fighter can actually build a record in the pros?
I don't think they are done building him yet by any means but we've got champions in his division openly saying they won't fight him and guys like salido pricing themselves so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when he says he had trouble finding a decent opponent. Obviously he can't fight this level of opposition his entire career but hopefully the likes of Davis will nut up and fight him.

Can't believe there are people trying to defend Loma not fighting Rigo or Mikey. Yes, he only has 9 fights, but he's also being hyped like crazy.

The guy is a 29 year old, two time gold medalist, who's already considered top 10 p4p. The time for building him up has passed. He'll be thinking about retiring in less than five years lol think about that for a second.

Maybe they prefer 38-0 sort of record with 37 bums (In boxing terms)....Maybe someone like Wilder? This is why boxers shouldn't give a toss and do what they wanted to do.

lol, even Arum isn't that much of a d-bag. The fight, and Loma, would be discredited for any attempt to go lower than 135 - just can't see it happening, especially with Loma's stated distaste for catch-weights, plus he clearly stated he's ready and able to go to 135 for this.

Still unsure how the ESPN/Showtime thing plays out given Loma has an agreement with ESPN and Garcia an agreement with Showtime - that's the only thing (other than Arum) that might get in the way.

Its hard to maintain that Loma is being carefully matched given he's pretty much fighting whoever is willing to get in the ring with him in his weight class. Ditto Mikey. They both need each other at the moment - hopefully Loma either ups his activity to more than 2 fights a year so that if he is still insists on a rematch with Salido, then Mikey can also be scheduled in without too long a wait.

Here's an idea Loma - Salido is having trouble getting to 130, so fight Salido at 135, and Mikey a few months later.
