This whole 9 fights thing is pretty amusing. The guy turned pro at 25 not 18 and is 29. Will he even fight 25 times before his career is over? So he stayed an amateur and developed his skill till he was 25. Same thing as a fighter who turns 18 and develops his skill by fighting lower tier fighters until he is ready to be matched tough a few years later. I seriously doubt Loma would have been a 2 time champ within 9 fights if he turn pro at 18 or 19. Is he skilled? Yes he's a great talent but people seem to forget he's 29. I see people praising Russell now that Loma beat him, but before he was the king of TBAs who hadn't beat anyone of note.
Exactly...the attempt to twist reality is humorous. We're not talking about Conlan or Stevenson here. Lomachenkco is nearly equivalent to what would've happened if Kindelan went pro after beating Khan.
Thissssssss. Arum is one of the least effective promoters at making the fights fans wanna see. And he seems to largely do it by making a mockery of fight talks with saying the same sh^t about every fighter.
He wants too much money
He doesn't deserve the fight
And this is all the while he's trying to get boxers to sign away options & 360 music type deals (thats the real reason Broner didn't take a career high payday for the Manny fight).
Yeah it doesn't take long to figure out Arum is just in the way and needs to retire.
