Right. I don't think Davis is ready just yet. Then again, I don't know if more fights against lesser guys would help him get to Loma's level- not many guys will ever be at that level.

He's right. HBO fighters suck! That's why they are on the way out of business. The PBC is where is at. Which just so happens to be the largest boxing conglomerate in the world that comprises over 200 some odd boxers globally and growing.

And it just keeps happening especially with American boxers advised by Haymon or Mayweather. Why do they have to keep essentially ruining all these young exciting American boxers for the fans? Why can't American fans have a "good guy" boxer for once, a Haymon boxer like GGG or Lomachenko but American who actually chases all the best fights and talks about respecting the sport instead of this fake "that guy who draws at least as much as I do doesn't draw enough for me to fight him" bull****?

The only ones who give me hope for that lately out of Haymon's stable are JRoc, Spence, and Thurman, plus I am finally coming around to DSG after he finally stepped up to fight Thurman if he does take another tough fight next, but I feel like the large majority of the boxers these guys advise or manage just start ducking right away and it makes it impossible for fans to like them. When their talent could actually be worth having lots of fans if they would just respect the sport and not pull **** like this. It's very disappointing.
I believe I've read you post about the risk vs reward in the case of ggg and Ward. If Ward wasn't worth the risk neither is the more unknown Loma.

Also, and this may not pertain to you per say, but to anyone who may also read this, If Floyd was wrong to fight Canelo in his early twenties then why is okay for Loma to fight Dabis in his early twenties?

But its not like Marriaga is a complete bum depending how you rate Valdez he gave him hell and all he could handle.
I am not on his twitter or other social media accounts so my comments are based solely off what I see on NSB. If people are accusing him of ducking, I wouldn't agree with them.

He could be fighting Salido but its eerily similar to the Walters fight-there is a money issue which is somehow all on Salido. I have enough experience watching TR operate to know Bob tried to attach something to the offer and Salido turned it down.

Marriaga is coming off a loss to a lesser fighter (than Loma) at a lower weight. he shouldn't be rewarded with another title shot. I don't see how anyone, even Loma fans, can say this is a good fight.

This is why i said everyone does it, if the guy at 22 doesn't think he is ready then thats him. Most of the ones here fuming and calling "Duck" are the same ones who applaud GGG and defend him if you say he ducked Ward.

Lomachenko as of now would beat Davis IMHO, and i could see why anyone from Team Davis would rather delay that fight, the longer the fight doesn't happen the better for Davis in the longer run.

Its not a money issue they agreed to that but a date issue. Salido wanted to fight late august but they already had this date lined up. Either way i heard Salido might be injured now so hes out till much later.

I dont think anyone wants to see the Marriaga fight.

Why would you even post what Gervonta says he made it clear he is not fighting Lomachenko for years unless his Dad Mayweather wants to cash him in. Why does every boxing fighter think then an expert and we should listen to talk rubbish
